Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is a great opportunity to honour the essential role that all educators and support staff play in ensuring the long-term viability of New Brunswick's educational system.
As a former teacher and principal, I am aware of the significance of their work in every student's life.
Teachers and school staff support our children's growth, enabling them to become competent and capable of creating the life they have always dreamed of.
I have had many opportunities to see the dedication and enthusiasm of educators and staff in New Brunswick schools since I assumed my position as minister of education and early childhood development.
You show exceptional professionalism in your efforts to support our children's development, well-being and academic success.
We are extremely grateful for all the outstanding work you do.
