Bryce Wilson has been announced as the new superintendent of Business Services for Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board.
Wilson is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has experience leading teams within business operations, administration and project management. Most recently a Project Manager with J. & P. Leveque Bros. Haulage Ltd. in Bancroft, he has administered large-scale complex transportation infrastructure projects completed for the Ministry of Transportation, overseeing up to 100 personnel.
"I'm looking forward to Bryce joining our senior management team. He brings with him a unique blend of financial knowledge and project management which will be an asset to the organization. As an HPEDSB graduate and local resident, we know Bryce is committed to the success of HPEDSB," said Katherine MacIver, Director of Education.
Wilson is keenly interested in the education sector and recently sought an instructor position in the Business Department at Durham College while working full-time with J. & P. Leveque Bros. Haulage Ltd.
"As an HPEDSB graduate and lifelong resident of Hastings County, I'm excited to support my community's education system. I'm looking forward to joining the HPEDSB leadership team," said Bryce Wilson, incoming Superintendent of Business Services.
Wilson joins HPEDSB on March 11, 2024.
