Pembina Trails students win gold, silver and bronze at the Skills Manitoba Competition

April 23, 2024

Mel Tanguay-Whitford, an Oak Park graduate, earned a gold medal in Culinary at the Skills Manitoba Competition at RRC Polytech on April 11th!  Mel is now advancing to the national competition held by Skills Canada in Quebec City.  Congratulations and good luck Mel!

We'd also like to congratulate the following medal winners from Pembina Trails:

-Julia Kemp from Alternative High who won silver in Hairstyling

-Isaac Turcotte from Oak Park who won silver in Electrical Installation 

-Khokha Adi, a Fort Richmond graduate, won bronze in Hairstyling

 Congratulations to all other student participants who took the initiative to compete provincially!
