OPHEA has announced their recipients of the 2023/2024 OPHEA Healthy Schools Certification.
Each year OPHEA recognizes schools across Ontario through their Healthy Schools Certification program. This program gives schools the tools they need to promote and enhance the health and well-being of students, staff and the school community.
To achieve Healthy Schools Certification, each school must follow goals that include student engagement and leadership at the school to support health and well-being, increasing adult engagement and strengthening community partnerships.
This year, over 280,000 students were involved in the program across 392 schools in Ontario.
