Thunder Bay - Algonquin Avenue Public School students craft a canoe for Eabametoong First Nation

Grade 8 students at Algonquin Avenue Public School in Thunder Bay, Ont., spent their graduating year building a birch bark canoe. They recently held a ceremony to present the canoe to members of Eabametoong First Nation, who lost their school in a devastating fire earlier this year.
