St. Geneviève Catholic School Officially Open

The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board is pleased to officially open St. Geneviève Catholic School. Thank you to students, families, staff, Board of Trustees, community members and local dignitaries for joining the official ribbon cutting of the Kingston's newest school. 

This dual stream school will provide students in Kingston's west end with outstanding opportunities for learning in both French and English. The state-of-the-art facility was made possible in part by the province's capital investment program, an initiative to support students with better learning spaces.

Highlights of the new Catholic learning community include: 

• 481 elementary student spaces 

• 20 learning studios 

• 10 learning commons 

• 4 new childcare rooms, providing 73 new licensed childcare spaces 

• 3 new EarlyON Child and Family Centre rooms
