At a public Board meeting on Tuesday, Interim Director of Education Bill Tucker announced the promotion of three successful candidates into the role of Superintendent of Student Achievement to fill anticipated positions.
Jeff Beynon is the current Principal of Montcalm Secondary School and a highly regarded secondary school administrator who has excelled in building school culture and improving educational outcomes for students in his school community.
Tammy Vacante is entering the role of Superintendent from her current position as System Principal for Literacy, the Arts, French as a Second Language, and Early Years in Thames Valley. Tammy brings a wealth of experience and curriculum expertise in both the elementary and secondary panels.
Kimberley Crawford joins Thames Valley from the Avon Maitland District School Board, where she is currently a System Principal. Her experience as an administrator in a neighbouring board will bring a fresh perspective and creative new strategies to our district.
The board looks forward to welcoming these three experienced administrators into their new roles.
