We're proud to share that our communications manager, Jennifer Patrick, has been honoured with a Canadian Association of Communicators in Education (CACE) Coup de Coeur Bravo award for the development of our district's crisis communications manual.
The Bravo awards recognize outstanding work in school public relations, communications, marketing and engagement. Projects are evaluated by a panel of public relations experts outside the field of education and the Coup de Coeur category specifically honours initiatives that achieve a score of 85% or higher.
Our crisis communication manual is designed to ensure that in the face of any school or district emergency, we are prepared, transparent, and ready to communicate quickly and effectively. This recognition underscores our commitment to being proactive and prepared, so that in challenging times, we can support and inform our community with care.
The award was presented at the national CACE conference in Calgary on October 26.
