Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord elections at the annual organizational meeting

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord (CSCFN) held its annual organizational meeting, at which school board trustees elected their Chair and Vice-Chair for the November 20, 2024, to November 20, 2025, term. 

The evening began with a reading of CSCFN's mission, vision, and recognition of indigenous territories, followed by a celebration of the Word, under the Jubilee 2025 theme "Pilgrims of Hope", leading to elections. 

Counting nearly 38 years of experience as a school board trustee, Mr. Ronald Demers was unanimously re-elected as Chair. Ms. Nicole Fournier, a school board trustee for 15 years, was unanimously re-elected as Vice-Chair. 

"I am humbly grateful for this vote of confidence from the political table. It's an opportunity to do even better. I would like to highlight the student trustees who have impressed since the start of the school year. They have demonstrated their ability to represent their school and the voices of students. We're proud of them. Together, let's continue our work with conviction and respect, ready to act on behalf of our students and families.
