We are delighted to share the wonderful news that Deacon Ed MacIntosh, has been honoured with the King Charles III Coronation Medal. This special recognition was created to commemorate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.
Deacon Ed has devoted much of his life to working with and supporting youth. Beginning in 1998 as a Youth Pastor in St. Albert, AB. He joined the WCDSB as a Chaplain in 2000 and later took on the role of Padre for Air, Army, and Sea Cadets in 2007. Ordained as a Deacon in the Catholic Church in 2016, he initiated a ministry dedicated to serving meals to those facing food insecurity.
Known for his steadfast dedication and caring leadership, Deacon Ed has always placed the needs of young people at the heart of his work. His commitment to giving back to the community shines through in all he does. With a spirit of faith and professionalism, he continues to inspire and uplift those around him, making a positive difference in countless lives.
Through his service as a Padre for Cadets, Deacon Ed has shared his wisdom and guidance with thousands of individuals, including Canadian Armed Forces members. His impact has touched both youth and adults, leaving a lasting legacy of kindness and serving as a shining example of living faith in action.
