GRANDE PRAIRIE PUBLIC SCHOOL DIVISION
GPPSD and Employee Association Ratify Four-Year Agreement

The Grande Prairie Public School Division (GPPSD) and the GPPSD Employee's Association are pleased to announce the successful ratification of a four-year agreement, effective September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2028. This agreement marks a significant milestone in the partnership between the division and its non-instructional staff, reinforcing their shared commitment to supporting students and families across GPPSD.

The agreement addresses key priorities such as fair compensation, and other settlements relating to specific employee groups. These initiatives create a positive environment that benefits both staff and students.

Joan Nellis, Chair of GPPSD's Board of Trustees, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration. "We are thrilled that both parties have ratified this agreement. It reflects a shared commitment to maintaining a supportive and cooperative environment for our staff and students. This agreement provides stability and  strengthens the partnership that continues to build stronger school communities and supports the success of every student."

Roxann MacDonald, President of the GPPSD Employee Association, also highlighted the agreement's significance. "Our members' contributions are invaluable, and this agreement reflects the respect and recognition they rightfully deserve. We are eager to continue supporting GPPSD students and families through this strong partnership."
