Lethbridge School Division is pleased to announce Carlie Ramotowski has been appointed Early Learning Coordinator for Lethbridge School Division, commencing March of 2025.
Ramotowski has demonstrated strong leadership in her roles as vice-principal at both Dr. Probe Elementary School and Fleetwood-Bawden Elementary School, and is known for building authentic relationships and fostering a strength-based school community that thrives on inclusive learning environments.

A strong instructional leader, Ramotowski is known for her use of innovative practices to promote optimal learning environments grounded in a strong understanding of pedagogy. She is a side-by-side leader who loves to work collaboratively with staff and support evidence-informed instruction.
"I am thrilled to step into the role of Early Learning Coordinator for Lethbridge School Division and look forward to the privilege of collaborating with the dedicated and skilled Early Learning staff and community partners," said Ramotowski. "Together, we will continue to build a solid foundation for our youngest learners by fostering positive, nurturing interactions and providing rich experiences that support optimal cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. I am passionate about supporting the work of Early Learning staff as the experiences and interventions during this critical developmental period have lasting benefits for learning and behaviour, as well as physical and mental health, setting the foundation for lifelong success."
Prior to her vice-principal designations at Dr. Probe and Fleetwood-Bawden, Ramotowski was a Learning Support Teacher and dynamic classroom teacher who endeavoured to contribute to the school context in a variety of roles.
"As I transition into my new role, I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude to the incredible staff at Dr. Probe Elementary School," she said. "This team is truly exceptional in how they care for students and one another. They set high standards for their students and themselves, and work collaboratively to create high quality, impactful learning experiences. I have learned so much from these talented educators and am grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside them. I look forward to continuing to support the amazing work being done there by the Early Learning staff in my new role."
Ramotowski earned a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Education from the University of Alberta, followed by a Master of Counselling from Gonzaga University.
