The Senior Administration Team is pleased to announce the appointment of Radean Carter as the Public Relations and Communications Officer at Pembina Trails School Division effective March 24, 2025. With over two decades of experience in communications, Radean has previously served as the communications lead at a large urban school division, where she successfully engaged diverse audiences and spearheaded initiatives promoting inclusion, diversity, and celebration.
In her most recent role as a Communications Consultant, Radean has collaborated with various organizations, including Pembina Trails. Her extensive experience in managing complex projects, media relations, and brand development, coupled with her background in a public educational setting, will significantly enhance Pembina Trails' communications strategy.
Radean holds a Management Certificate from the University of Winnipeg, Broadcast Journalism & Public Relations/Marketing Diploma (BCIT), and is an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) through the International Association of Business Communicators.
Radean has been recognized by her peers as the recipient of several industry awards including the CACE, Bravo Award of Merit, CACE Bravo Award of Distinction, IABC Canada, Silver Leaf Award in Media Relations and the IABC Gold Quill Award in Communications Management Advocacy.
