Staff from the district's Community-Schools Partnership (CSP) department and Education Services School are being recognized as winners in this year's Top 25 Under 25 awards, hosted by the Surrey Board of Trade (SBoT) and the South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce.
CSP facilitator Anamika Sangar and Integrated Child & Youth (ICY) peer support worker Ahmed Khan, both 23, are among this year's award recipients, selected for their professional achievements, leadership ability, community involvement and the uniqueness of their work within the district.
"The board would like to congratulate Anamika and Ahmed on this phenomenal achievement," said Gary Tymoschuk, Chair of the Surrey Board of Education. "It's great to see our employees recognized for their hard work, dedication and passion, and we are proud to have so many amazing staff in the district who make a difference in the lives of our students, their families and fellow staff members every day."
