Congratulations to all Steinbach Regional Secondary School students competing in the Skills Canada (Manitoba) provincial competition at Red River College on April 10, 2025. SRSS students amassed nine medals, which included two Gold, five Silver, and two Bronze.
Students participate in challenges designed to test skills required in trades and technology careers. The philosophy of the Skills Competition is to reward students for excellence, directly involve industry in evaluating student performance, and keep training programs relevant to employers' needs. Over 475 high school, post secondary and apprentice students compete in 42 skilled trades and technology contests in six industry sectors.
