Congratulations to Paisley Nadon, student at École secondaire catholique Élisabeth-Bruyère in Mattawa and student trustee at Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord, who distinguished herself by taking 1st place in the pastry-making competition and 3rd place in the Excellence Award for top-ranked Francophone competitors. Thanks to her exceptional talent, she will now be heading to Regina for the Skills Canada national competition!
Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord and its schools wish to congratulate all participants in the Skills Ontario competition held in Toronto last week, May 5 and 6. We are very proud of your commitment, passion, and determination in the skilled trades. You are a true source of inspiration! We'd also like to thank both Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) and Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program for providing Franco-Nord students with this unique and rewarding experience in the skilled trades.
