Audra Abromaitis doesn't just support e-Learning she transforms it.
Across the Ottawa Catholic School Board, when educators think about online learning, they think about Audra. Not because she asks for the spotlight, but because her behind-the-scenes brilliance has shaped how we support students and staff in the digital world. That's why it comes as no surprise but with great pride that Audra was honoured by the Ontario e-Learning Consortium (OELC) at their OeLC Awards Dinner and Banquet on May 7, 2025.
Audra is the kind of leader who makes complex systems run smoother and stressful moments feel manageable. Whether troubleshooting a technical glitch or helping someone redesign an entire course, she brings clarity, calm, and a genuine desire to help. Her responses are quick, her solutions are practical, and her support is never-ending though she'd never describe herself that way!
She's also a respected voice across the province. Her depth of knowledge, paired with a willingness to innovate, has earned her a seat at the table when it comes to reimagining what e-Learning can look like for students. She sees the possibilities and then works hard to make them real.
This award recognizes not just what Audra knows but also how she leads with thoughtfulness, purpose, and a steady commitment to doing what's best for learners.
