School websites across Langley will soon have a fresh new look. The District will soon launch new websites to improve communications with our growing community. The new websites which include the District website will have features which will make it easier for students, staff, and families to navigate to find important information from schools and the District.
Highlights will include an improved layout, eye-catching quick links, a language translation function, as well as an accessibility tool to adapt content for readers to meet their needs. The websites will continue to showcase stories that celebrate student learning, share news and events, as well as promote diversity, equity and inclusion.
All websites will be mobile friendly. Websites will also be able to be accessed through a new Langley Schools mobile app, which will be available to download from your app store sometime after the launch. The expected launch will be Thursday, June 26 in the afternoon.
As the District transitions to new websites, it will take some time for District and school staff to train and adjust to these new sites. We ask for the community's patience as we make this exciting change. It is important for all students, staff, families, and community members to note that any links to webpages on the old website may be expired. Please continue to visit your school and District website by using the same URL for the respective homepage after the launch as these web addresses will remain. For example, the District website URL will continue to be sd35.bc.ca.
