Mr. Twelvetree will begin his new role next week when teachers and students return to class.
Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) is excited to announce that Mr. Rob Twelvetree has accepted the principal position of the Division's nine Colony schools.
Mr. Twelvetree began his teaching career with PWPSD in 1997. Since then, he has taught students in Grades 5-8 throughout the division, including those at Spirit River Elementary School, Peace Academy of Virtual Education, Helen E. Taylor School, Clairmont Community School, and Harry Balfour School.
For the past 25 years, Mr. Twelvetree has split his time between teaching, travelling, and helping on the family farm. "Although I'm not new to farming, I have a lot to learn about colony life and am very excited for this opportunity. I'm really looking forward to travelling the beautiful Peace Country and working with so many new people." Mr. Twelvetree will begin his new role next week when teachers and students return to class.
