The Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE) is elated to announce that the construction project for the new Académie catholique Notre-Dame has reached a key milestone thanks to additional funding from the Government of Ontario. This additional contribution will allow the CECCE to proceed with a call to tenders to select a contractor and begin construction.
The new building will accommodate a total of 417 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, as well as a childcare centre. It will help address the region's population growth and the educational needs of families by providing the school community with modern, well-adapted facilities.
An official groundbreaking ceremony is planned for later this fall to mark the start of construction a long-awaited moment for the school community.
