Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) has released a new Creating Safe and Caring Schools Policy that promotes positive, caring relationships between all members of the school community and empowers Thames Valley to become an even better place to learn, work and grow.
This includes the new
TVDSB Code of Conduct, created to ensure that everyone understands their rights and responsibilities as members of their school community.
The TVDSB Code of Conduct emphasizes that everyone has a role to play in creating safe, caring and inclusive school and work environments. The Code of Conduct reaffirms TVDSB's commitment to promoting caring relationships between students, parents, caregivers, community members and staff, so that we can ensure that everyone understands their rights and responsibilities as members of their school community.
The new Creating Safe and Caring Schools Policy was developed over the course of several years through unprecedented levels of public engagement and consultation with diverse members of the Thames Valley community, including families, students, staff, Board committees and equity deserving groups.
