STAR Catholic School Division is pleased to share that a formal agreement has been signed with the City of Drayton Valley, Brazeau County, and the RCMP to support the presence of a School Resource Officer (SRO) in Drayton Valley schools.
The partnership will serve St. Anthony School and Holy Trinity Academy, enhancing student safety, relationship-building, and coordinated community support. Through the SRO program, schools benefit from proactive engagement, education, and positive connections between students and law enforcement.
STAR Catholic also collaborates with Wild Rose School Division through a joint committee, demonstrating a shared commitment to student well-being and community partnership across school divisions.
The agreement was finalized during a December meeting at the Brazeau County office, where representatives from all partner organizations came together to advance this important work in support of students and families.
STAR Catholic extends its appreciation to all partners for their continued collaboration and commitment to creating safe, supportive learning environments.
