The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board (KPDSB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Natalie Pearson, CPA, CA, to the position of Superintendent of Business and Treasurer for the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board, effective March 31, 2026.

Natalie has an accomplished professional career in financial leadership spanning over seventeen years. Prior to working with the KPDSB, Natalie worked with MNP, an accounting and business advisory firm, as a manager overseeing finance teams and audit engagements. She also previously worked for the City of Kenora as a Deputy Treasurer, helping to consolidate financial statements and assist with year-end reporting. At KPDSB, Natalie has served as the current Finance Manager for the past eight years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role in overseeing the financial goals of the Board.
Beyond the world of business, Natalie is also a regular community volunteer dedicated to exhibiting leadership and giving back to her community. She volunteers her time and experience as an administrator and coach across community organizations in Kenora, and has always proudly contributed to serving the needs of Northern Ontario communities.
"I'm honoured to step into the role of Superintendent of Business and grateful for the trust placed in me," Natalie stated. "I look forward to working collaboratively with staff, families, and communities to ensure our resources strengthen learning opportunities and elevate student success."

The Superintendent position vacancy follows the retirement of the previous Superintendent of Business, Richard Findlay, after nine years of service with the KPDSB.
As Superintendent of Business and Treasurer, Natalie will become a key member of the senior leadership team responsible for providing the effective and efficient operation of the Board's business functions for all financial operations of the KPDSB. The senior leadership team looks forward to continued growth and success under her stewardship as she takes on this new role.
