Thunder Bay - High school students cast a line and get hooked on learning

Students from the Kendomang Zhagodenamnon (KZ) Lodge program in Thunder Bay, Ont., spent a day out on the ice learning how to fish. The program, run through the Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre and Lakehead District School Board, focuses on land-based learning and life skills for Indigenous youth. It\'s supported by Roots Community Food Centre and its “Mind Your Food” initiative, which aims to provide hands-on experience with traditional foods and connections to the land.
