On Wednesday afternoon, the Dr. Plaxton Elementary School gym got a little messy!
A collection of teachers, including principal Andy Tyslau, received special "treats" from students after the conclusion of a successful playground fundraiser.
At a special assembly, the school revealed the final amount raised, which amounted to $35,314.05.

For the last two-and-a-half weeks, the Plaxton Busy Bees Fundraising Society helped raise the money, through a dance-a-thon, in an effort to expand the school's playground and outdoor learning space.
Students and members of the school community gathered to hand out prizes, which included lucky students given the opportunity to pie their teachers and slime principal Andy Tyslau.
The top fundraising students, who will get the opportunity to be principal for the day, were also announced.
