A new collection of student artwork is now on display at The Reach Gallery, continuing a multi-year exploration of identity, culture, and personal story through student art.
Now in its third year, the exhibition features a new set of works created during the current school year by students across the Abbotsford School District and the Fraser Valley. Through visual and digital mediums, students respond to questions of belonging, lived experience, and how culture shapes who they are.
Building on previous years, this latest collection introduces new voices and perspectives while deepening the impact of the project. The exhibition continues to evolve as more students contribute, creating space for reflection, storytelling, and connection across schools and communities.
The works span a wide range of mediums and experiences, from deeply personal reflections on family, culture, and identity to explorations of community, land, and belonging. Together, they highlight the diversity of student voice and the importance of creative expression in understanding self and others .
Opportunities like this support the district's commitment to student voice and engagement, creating meaningful ways for learners to share their perspectives beyond the classroom.
The exhibition is open to the public until May 30(opens in a new window). Community members are encouraged to visit The Reach Gallery to experience the artwork firsthand.
