FSD to welcome Robyn McClure as Vice Principal at ÉSFCHS | AHSFA in Fall 2026

Foothills School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Robyn McClure as Vice-Principal at École Secondaire Foothills Composite High School | Alberta High School of Fine Arts, effective August 21, 2026.

Robyn brings over ten years of experience in secondary education across Alberta and international settings. She is currently serving as Vice Principal at Brooks Composite High School in Grasslands School Division, where she supports school operations, instructional leadership, inclusive education, wellness initiatives, and student engagement. Her leadership practice is grounded in Alberta's Leadership Quality Standard (LQS)and emphasizes collaborative relationships, strong instructional practice, and student-centered decision-making.

Throughout her career, Robyn has demonstrated a strong commitment to building teacher capacity through instructional coaching, professional learning communities, and reflective practice. She brings strengths in mathematics and science pedagogies, inclusive education, restorative practices, and supporting positive school culture. Her experience includes mentoring teachers, supporting evaluation processes, leading attendance and engagement initiatives, and fostering collaborative team models to improve teaching and learning.

 Robyn holds a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership and Inclusive Education from the University of Calgary, Bachelor of Education (Secondary) Mt. Saint Vincent, and a Bachelor of Science Memorial University.

In addition to her formal leadership roles, Robyn has been actively involved in student leadership, athletics, curriculum development, and professional learning across her career. She is recognized for her relational leadership style, commitment to equity and belonging, and dedication to fostering safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments for all students.

As she prepares to join the team at ÉSFCHS |AHSFA, Robyn shares the following: "I look forward to helping ÉSFCHS | AHSFA to continue to grow into an even stronger community. One where learning is deepened, connections are strengthened, and every student feels supported, valued, and inspired to succeed."
