Congratulations to Katrina Ebbert, Delilah Drury, Lily Farden, and Kylie Alvaran, Outlook High School (OHS) students who finished third in the Work Safe Saskatchewan Video Contest. Each year WorkSafe Saskatchewan invites students to get creative while learning about workplace safety. Through short, student-produced videos, participants share powerful messages about recognizing hazards, working safely, and protecting themselves and others on the job. The contest encourages youth to think critically about safety before entering the workforce and to communicate those lessons in engaging, memorable ways.
The OHS entry this year, entitled "Horse Safety on the XE Ranch" offered entertaining and educational advice on how to avoid injuries while working with horses. The video that you watch below is a testament to the students' creativity, teamwork, and strong understanding of workplace safety.
