Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Stefan Labrecque as Principal of École Camille J. Lerouge School, effective January 4, 2027.
Stefan brings 23 years of dedicated service to Red Deer Catholic Schools. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to student success, inclusive teaching practices, and building meaningful relationships with students, staff, families, and the broader community. His leadership is deeply rooted in the mission and values of Catholic education.
Over the years, Stefan has served in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, Department Lead, Vice-Principal, and most recently Principal of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic School.
Stefan is known for his collaborative leadership style and his belief in the importance of continuous learning and growth. He works hard to create welcoming, supportive, and engaging school environments where both students and staff are encouraged to develop their God-given gifts and reach their full potential.
A devoted member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, Stefan leads with faith, humility, and a genuine spirit of service. He is excited to join the École Camille J. Lerouge community and looks forward to supporting its strong French Immersion program while fostering a warm, Christ-centred environment where all are welcomed and valued.
