Westwind School Division has received 10 TELUS Kits for Kids to help support local students and families as they prepare for the new school year.
Superintendent Darren Mazutinec accepted the backpacks from Member of Parliament Glen Motz during the Stirling community BBQ on Saturday, August 15. Motz represents the federal riding of Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner.

Each TELUS Kit for Kids backpack contains essential school supplies, helping ensure students have the tools they need as they return to the classroom.
The kits will be distributed to Westwind families who could benefit from some additional support with back-to-school supplies.
Westwind School Division extends its thanks to TELUS for providing the Kits for Kids and to MP Glen Motz and his office for selecting Westwind School Division as a recipient and helping connect these resources with families in our school communities.
Initiatives such as Kits for Kids are a meaningful example of organizations and community partners working together to support students and help them begin the school year ready to learn.
