Another Gold for St. Michael Girls Hockey at OFSAA

The St. Michael girls hockey team, once again, won the gold medal at the AA - OFSAA championships on home ice! In the championship game St. Michael found themselves down 2-0 with only a 1:28 seconds into the game. With the support of the home crowd filled with elementary and St. Michael School students cheering the team on, the girls fought back to take the lead 4-2 at the end of the first period. St. Michael went on to win 6-3 over at strong opponent College North-Dame, Sudbury. This is second gold medal back-to-back for St. Michael with a previous silver medal in 2014. Congratulations to all of the St. Michael Girls hockey team Warriors. Way to go!!
