Three Pictou County high school students entering Grade 12 in September were part of a summer co-operative program that gave them the opportunity to experience the wide range of career opportunities in health care. Each student completed 200 hours of placement at the Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow and with other Nova Scotia Health Authority programs and services in the county. For the fifth year, the Aberdeen Hospital has partnered with the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board to offer the program which is generously funded by the Aberdeen Health Foundation.
