The Strait Regional School Board recognized ten (10) members of staff who completed the Aspiring Leaders Program during the Board's Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

As a School Board, we are very fortunate to have you as part of our team and extend sincere congratulations to you on this impressive accomplishment," said Jamie Samson, Chair, Strait Regional School Board.
The Aspiring Leaders Program recipients for 2016 are:

- Deanna Martell, Teacher, Richmond Education Centre/Academy
The Aspiring Leaders Program (ALP) is offered by the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development in partnership with the Nova Scotia Educational Leadership Consortium (NSELC) and regional school boards. The goal of the Program is to provide leadership training and skill development to individuals who aspire to become school administrators. The ALP extends over 14 months and leads to a certificate. The certificate is granted by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development in partnership with the NSELC and regional school boards.
