Chair of the Board of Trustees, Kim McKinley is pleased to announce that Director of Education Erin Kelly has agreed to a new 5 year contract to lead the Greater Essex County District School Board.
"The Board of Trustees look forward to continuing to work with Director Kelly. As a Board we have confidence in her and we anticipate seeing to fruition the results of the work that Erin has already begun. So just as our mission statement says, we will be Building Tomorrow Together with Director Erin Kelly at the helm."
"I am excited to be able to continue the work that we've done over the past 5 years," Ms. Kelly says. "We have accomplished a lot in that time but there is more we can do for our students, our families and our communities."
Kelly began her tenure with the GECDSB in June 2013.
