Congratulations to the Hackergals at Bertha Shaw Public School in South Porcupine! The school won a social media contest, and have been featured in Hackergal's new blog!

Hackergal is a non-profit organization that introduces young girls across Canada to coding. With women vastly underrepresented in the tech industry all over the world, Hackergal strives to inspire a new wave of female coders to bring equality to the booming industry.
On May 2nd, girls in over 100 schools participated in the Spring Hackathon, including Bertha Shaw. Congratulations to teachers Myra Ryan, Laurie Boychuk, and Michelle McKechnie.
