TCRCE'S Alternative Program

The Alternative program officially opened on February 4th and is housed at NSCC Burridge.  The students currently in the program are feeling both excited and empowered about their education.  They have settled into Burridge and the change in location has provided a new opportunity for them.  One of the students indicated that he feels that he "fits" here.  These five students see the dual credit system valuable to their future.  The ability to explore some of the career programs has made them excited about WHIMIS, OHS and First Aid.

As these students settle in, and programming to meet their needs is enhanced, TCRCE will be looking at adding additional students with the goal of being at 15 students for September.
