Enver Creek Secondary's robotics team headed to world championship

Enver Creek Secondary is off to the VEX Robotics World Championships in Louisville, Kentucky after a win at the provincial robotics championships.

One of the school's teams - Team 4549B, consisting of students Arsh Hassall, Ritam Singal, Madhurjot Sohi, Jashan Virdi and Ali Waraich - won the B.C. title, along with two top awards: the Excellence Award and Top Robot Skills award.

The school had three other teams compete at provincials.Team 4549E placed 7th at the end of the qualifying rounds while the two others battled hard against 40 veteran teams from all over B.C. and supported each other during the elimination rounds.
