The Halton Catholic District School Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Aaron Lofts to the position of Superintendent of Business Services & Treasurer of the Board.
Aaron brings more than 21 years of progressive leadership experience, both within the private and public financial sectors. In addition to his Bachelor of Commerce degree, Aaron has earned his Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant (CPA, CMA) designation. He has also completed all modules in the Supervisory Officers' Qualifications Program, offered through the Ontario Catholic Supervisory Officers' Association.
Aaron first joined HCDSB in 2016, when he was appointed Senior Manager, Financial Services. In this role, he was responsible for all the financial departments within the Board, including Accounting Services, Budget Services, Payroll Services and Purchasing Services. With this new appointment to Superintendent of Business Services, Aaron will now oversee Information Technology (IT) Services and Planning Services, in addition to Financial Services. He will also serve as Treasurer of the Board.

Aaron has a deep-rooted connection to the Halton Catholic District School Board. His parents, Bill and Lydia Lofts, are long-serving retired teachers of the Board. Aaron himself is a graduate of HCDSB, as is his eldest son, Tyler. Aaron's youngest son, Connor, is currently attending Grade 8 in a Halton Catholic elementary school.
