Deputy Superintendent Announced

Holy Spirit Catholic School Division is pleased to announce that Mr. Paul Dunphy has been appointed as the Deputy Superintendent the Holy Spirit Catholic School Division, starting January 6, 2020.

Mr. Dunphy was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario.  He received his undergraduate and education degrees from Bishop's University in Lennoxville, Quebec, and earned his Master of Education from the University of Calgary.  He began his teaching career with Christ the Redeemer School Division in 1995, and has served as a leader and administrator there since 2005. 

"We are very fortunate to have Mr. Paul Dunphy join our divisional team as Deputy Superintendent.  Paul was chosen from a field of very strong applicants across the country," remarks Ken Sampson, who is currently serving as Deputy Superintendent, but will assume the Superintendent position in the new year.  "Paul is a well-rounded school-based administrator, who is faith-filled and leads with integrity."

I am deeply humbled and incredibly excited to accept the responsibility of serving the students, staff, parents and communities of Holy Spirit Catholic Schools in the capacity of Deputy Superintendent."

Paul and his wife, Janise, have five wonderful children aged 3 to 9.  They currently reside in Okotoks, Alberta.
