The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that a new Superintendent of Schools and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has been chosen for the Edmonton Catholic School Division. Following a comprehensive search, Robert Martin, who served as Acting Superintendent since last May, will begin his new role as Superintendent on May 1, 2020. His belief in the permeation of Catholic education, his commitment to excellence in serving our students and their families, makes the Board confident that Robert will lead the Division with the best interests of students and staff in mind. Robert's extensive background and 33 years of experience ensures a successful future for our Division.
The Board extends a heartfelt thank you to Joe Naccarato for his commitment to the Division and Catholic education in his role as Acting Superintendent. Joe and Robert worked collaboratively as they moved the Division forward and the Board appreciates their dedication during the past year.
