HALTON CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD
HCDSB Staff Packaging Food for Families in Need

May 12, 2020

On April 27, 2020, the Halton Catholic District School Board's (HCDSB) Custodial and Maintenance staff from CUPE Local 2888, alongside Facilities Management staff, lent a helping hand by packaging bags of food for families in need.

Staff safely gathered at Food for Life Halton where they filled bags with soup, meat items, frozen vegetables and fruit. While packaging the items, our staff made sure to follow all COVID-19 social distancing protocols to keep each other safe.

By the end of the shift, they packaged over 700 bags of food!

We are grateful to our amazing staff for their hard work and generosity during these uncertain times. Your selfless actions are greatly appreciated by the HCDSB community & beyond!
