At a Special Board Meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, the Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) announced the ratification of a local collective agreement with the Association of Professional Student Services Personnel (APSSP). The local agreement will expire on August 31, 2022.
Janice Oldman, Chair of the Durham Catholic District School Board congratulated the bargaining committees on negotiating a local agreement that address issues of mutual interest.
Chair Oldman said: "I am pleased that a collective agreement between APSSP and DCDSB was achieved in alignment with the best interest of our students and the board's Discovery 2023: Renewing the Vision strategic plan. Thank you to everyone involved in the process."
Tracy Barill, Director of Education, said: "Thank you to the bargaining representatives for reaching a renewed local agreement that reflects our commitment to Excellence, Equity and Engagement, as we continue to offer quality Catholic education for all students."
