Jeff enters this new role with a great deal of teaching and leadership experience. In the past year, Jeff has led the divisional leadership team as well as helping launch the LRSD Learning from Home School in September 2020, to meet the needs of families whose children could not attend in person classes.
Throughout the past two years, Jeff has been a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) where his management and analytic skills have been greatly appreciated by his SLT team members.
Jeff began his career in LRSD in 2000 as a high school science teacher at Collège Jeanne-Sauvé. He moved on to the role of Vice-Principal in 2004 at École St. Germain. Jeff was first appointed Principal of École-Henri Bergeron in 2005, Principal of École Varennes in 2008, and Principal of École Guyot in 2015. His varied experience and expertise in the French Immersion milieu makes him the ideal candidate for his appointment as Assistant Superintendent and we are confident that the needs of all 17 schools in his portfolio, including the 13 French Immersion schools in this group. will be well served under Jeff's guidance.
