I am saddened today (Oct 19), as are my colleagues on City Council, to learn of the death of Greg Enion, former Director of Education for Regina Public Schools.
Greg's 40-year tenure at the Regina Public School Board, including seven years as Director of Education, along with his role on the School Board / City Council Liaison Committee, meant that many members of Council knew first-hand of Greg's extraordinary commitment to public education.
On behalf of City Council, I'd like to offer our condolences to Greg's family and friends. His contributions to public education in Regina will leave an enduring legacy for years to come.
