At their final Board Meeting before the municipal elections, Trustees received a report on progress made over the last school year toward the priorities, goals, and objectives in the overarching Strategic Plan for the Burnaby School District.
The report includes highlights and accomplishments from the 2021-22 school year in everything from student excellence and support for those who need it the most to our path toward reconciliation.
At the September 27 Board Meeting, Chair Jen Mezei spoke about what has been accomplished since the Burnaby Board of Education's Strategic Plan began being implemented in 2019.
The work that we have been able to accomplish together is a testament to what we can accomplish when we keep students at the centre of our decisions and work collaboratively in the best interest of students, staff and families in the Burnaby School District."
