Bargaining update: Capilano University and the Capilano Faculty Association (CFA)

Capilano University and the Capilano Faculty Association (CFA) met on Tuesday, September 5.

During this meeting, the University presented responses and revised proposals, as well as a monetary proposal. The parties came to a tentative agreement on proposals concerning life insurance and accidental death and disablement coverage (article 9.4.3.1) and sectoral workload (articles 6.8.3, 6.8.11, 6.8.11.1 and 6.8.11.2). 

Next steps
The next scheduled bargaining dates with the CFA are September 15, September 26, and September 29. As the bargaining process continues, we'll provide updates, as needed.
