Students develop way to grow food in space

Judges with the Canadian Space Agency\'s Deep Space Food Challenge were at the University of Guelph on Wednesday for its final judging panel. Mathew Wake, a second year masters candidate in plant agriculture and team member with the school\'s Canada GOOSE team, explains their entry. The competition is to develop new technologies to produce food for future space missions while also expanding opportunities for food production on Earth.
