TRENT UNIVERSITY
College Graduates Fast Track to a Trent University Degree though 200+ Transfer Pathways

December 9, 2024

Bolstering Trent's reputation as one of Ontario's most transfer-credit friendly universities, the University has established new agreements with Fanshawe College, Georgian College, and St. Clair College, adding to more than 200 existing diploma-to-degree pathways designed to accelerate the process for college graduates to earn their bachelor's degree at Trent.

"Every student has their own unique educational path, and we know that thousands of students who start their journeys at college go on to pursue a bachelor's degree, and sometimes even graduate degrees," said Dr. Scott Henderson, vice president and head of Trent University Durham Greater Toronto Area (GTA). "To recognize and support these ambitions, Trent works closely with colleges across the province to build standardized transfer pathways that help students get the best of both learning environments. These new agreements make the process of transferring credits as simple as possible for students and ensure they get a head start on their degree and maintain momentum towards their career."

The agreements with Fanshawe, Georgian, and St. Clair College - among 39 new transfer agreements established in the past year between Trent and colleges across Ontario - bring the total number of standardized college-to-university transfer pathways at Trent to 214 across 16 colleges in the province.

The new pathways include:
