Honouring 57 exceptional Canadians for service, sustainability and community impact -
Universities Canada congratulates the recipients of the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal. This esteemed honour celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions across diverse fields from the local community to the global stage. Recipients will be celebrated during a virtual ceremony in March 2025.
Created to commemorate His Majesty King Charles III's Coronation on May 6, 2023, the King Charles III Coronation Medal honours 30,000 Canadians from all walks of life who made exceptional contributions to society. Nominated by various organizations, these recipients reflect the values that both His Majesty and Canadians hold dear, including a commitment to service, the environment and inclusivity.
"We are thrilled to celebrate the accomplishments of these remarkable individuals," said Gabriel Miller, President and CEO of Universities Canada. "The recipients of the King Charles III Coronation Medal have demonstrated a profound commitment to improving the world around them. Their dedication to making a difference is inspiring."
A virtual ceremony in March 2025 honouring Universities Canada's nominees will unite recipients and special guests from across Canada to celebrate their remarkable achievements and provide a moment of shared recognition.
