Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) is being recognized as one of BC's Top Employers for 2025, making it the fifth consecutive year the university has received this award.

KPU's Ride Along program, which gives employees an opportunity to meet colleagues from different departments and experience their roles first-hand, is just one reason the university was selected for this award.
"We're incredibly proud to be recognized as one of BC's Top Employers once again," says Laurie Clancy, Vice-President, Human Resources at KPU. "This award reflects the strength of our people and the culture of collaboration and care that we've built together. Despite challenging times in our sector, we will continue to strive to be our best for our employees."
The university is also being recognized for its generous maternity and parental leave benefits, which include a top-up of up to 75 per cent of an employee's salary. The perks of a campus work environment were also cited, with KPU employees having access to healthy food options, outdoor sitting areas, nearby walking trails and an athletic centre with a variety of instructor-led classes.
This annual competition, organized by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers, recognizes B.C. employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.
Employers are assessed on criteria such as financial and family benefits, work atmosphere, vacation and time off, training and skills development, community involvement, and more. Additionally, employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
KPU has previously received this award for celebrating its employees' professional achievements through several awards, retirement planning assistance, and its public commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
